This is one of my all-time favorite clubs in France. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and unique with 4 or 5 stories - 3 for dining, the first floor for dancing and bar, and the top floor for dance lessons. They play everything from Latin music (salsa, bachata, reggaeton), to hip hop and top 40s. I've also been to their Kizomba night. The crowd that shows up for dancing tends to be pretty diverse (age groups, race, backgrounds) and friendly. This is about as good as it gets in Paris.
Reservation: I hosted my birthday party here with about 25 people or so. Reserving and organizing the party with the staff by email and phone was easily - they gave my party and me an entire lounge area.
Cover: While the place is reputed to be expensive, you can actually get in during certain days (like Thursday or Wednesday) or certain hours for free. The weekend are a 20 euro cover fee.
The bad: the bar service can be slow, just like in most crowded places and clubs. The drinks are very expensive. I wish the dance floor were larger, and that they had free online tickets/ passes for people who want to come dance on the weekends, otherwise the weekends are too expensive.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - William B.Orange County, Estados Unidos5569583 mar 2015
Seriously, if you are going to have Latino in your name your better get some real beans in that joint. I was sadly disappointed to see the only persons working in there were dark, but not of Mexico decent.
Mexicans know Mexicans. The salsa was like a remoulade, the chips were similar to baggett crumbs, and I didn't hear mariachi music blaring from the "cocina".
This is no bean restaurant, and for this reason William B must punt on giving his guarantee.

In the fashion of the woman previously reviewing this club/bar, I will redirect attention over to "Pachamama," if you are looking for this location in the future. My friend and I came here on Thursday night looking for good spots to dance as we had already exhausted Bastille (it was creepy and frightening after 2am) and we landed upon this location after trudging through the cold night with our legs and arms out...what a welcome surprise it was. The place was not too full, but perfect for dancing and having a good time without being harassed or urged to dance with creeps. The drinks were good and the music was...eh, but it was a great place to cut loose without fear of judgement, everyone was in there to have fun!

Yeah for the disco tech! One of the best nights of my trip to Paris. We got dressed up and hit Barrio Latino for dancing. I really loved the inside of this building it was very old and very charming. But I did get hit with this wave of heat. They for sure don't have air conditioning. It cost us 20e to get in, and you get 1 drink ticket. I love that you can sit down anywhere and leave your drink and nobody will take it or put drugs in your drink. So cool. You don't have to pay for VIP to sit down, I love Europe.
I got to dance to 3 Michael Jackson songs, a Bee Gees song and other latin and top hit singles. People were dancing all over the dance floor. I got so hot dancing and had to take a few breaks, but I'd go back out there and dance some more.
The building it a few stories high and it adds a romantic charm to it. I would for sure go back here if I ever come back.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mauro B.Milán, Italia17127117245 dic 2014
A very nice place to have dinner in city center just beside to Bastille square.
The building is developed on several floors with an empy area in the center, that let everybody to dance on the floor and have a good vision from the above levels.
Here you can eat good food and wine from south america and dance a romantic bachata with your partner.
And if you are not a good dancer don't worry because there are even people that can teach you how to do.
The place is full of pretty latin girls available to dance.
The only bad note is the aperitive: 11 euro for a mojito with only 4cl of rum is not a big deal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Colbee B.Düsseltal, Düsseldorf, Alemania1580805 mar 2015
I'm originally from south central Los Angeles, Watts to be exact . The only the good about this bar/disco was that there were many other people of African descent. Whether it be African American, African French, or just straight up Africans from Congo. So for me it felt like home, or Detroit or something like that.
However,
The place itself was pretty bad. Terrible music. Terrible layout and arrogant service
Unless your black, I do not recommend coming here.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 20 feb 2018
Aka "Pachamama" .. Came here for my birthday dinner while I stayed in Paris. Such a great spot! The rep at my hotel had mentioned to me that they actually have a few spots & this one was the best. Indeed it is. Exactly what I wanted on my birthday & the atmosphere gave me NYC vibes. The food was really good, my waiter did warn us the food was not big portioned but was great for an individual. I had the 'salmon with quinoa' the salmon was delicious but the quinoa was a bit dry & just blah. I've had quinoa at restaurants before & it was actually made with flavor. The drinks were good, I had started off with 'sex on the beach' at dinner, good taste, good buzz. Made my way down to the dance floor where I had switched up my drinks to 'jack & coke' again good taste good buzz. Dance floor was great, the music kept flowing & the vibe was even better. I'm from New York & I was glad they played such great choice of music, even with a kick of Parisian music. The staff were friendly, males & females!

There is no Spanish music here. Techno that's it.
